great stuff my dude!

HA, didn't notice the Rubber Up! poster before.

Again, great work man. Still get a kick out of that ending.

This is adorable. And you got away with animating a fight sequence for a Uarts project, which is always a plus. The monster's reaction faces were really good, and I like the textured look you used in the "real world". Nicely done, man!

I enjoyed the papery textures, as they helped the story seem like a children's book. Great twist with the clock/lock at the end. I also laughed when Orange Ocean was used for Orange Clock. The music might be a little too loud in most of the scenes, though, and your audio at the beginning was clipping a little. Also, I probably would have expected to hear some music for the credits since they were so long.

All in all though, a great Clock Day short. Good work!

Definitely one of my favorites from the Junior show. Great music, excellent use of After Effects, and gorgeous shapes and colors. I'm not usually into abstract animation, but yours always impresses me. Keep up the great work, my fellow Murphy.

This ain't got nothing on Crabby.

I like your use of camera angles, and the small amount of animation that's there works well enough to tell the story. However, this is still a little short. I would suggest creating more suspense by adding a few more shots of the character mining the diamond block. Perhaps the look on his face could suggest that he's hungrily waiting for the diamonds to pop out, which will make his "FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--" more justified and believable to the audience. Besides, I'm pretty sure diamond takes longer to mine with a stone pickaxe. Also, some non-Minecraft players might not understand that the stone pickaxe was the cause of this, so maybe a second scene could be added, where the player finds another diamond vain, mines it with his iron pickaxe, and the diamond falls into the lava. Just a suggestion.

All in all, this is pretty decent for your first animation. Keep practicing!

The lipsync is just a little off, the animation is very limited, and there really isn't anything exciting going on (although you did manage to do what you could with this single shot; blinking, manly stubble, cards, etc). I did like that the style of the trollface remained true to the original image, and it's the only animation I've seen of the "You've been trolled" song, so... Not bad, but nothing too interesting. Try to add more movement, either in the background or the trollface itself. Maybe some bouncing and tilting.

Nice.

I remember watching you work on this... XD

Originally, the ending consisted of Zoey helping Louis into a building, and suddenly look over and find the money that they could be saving by switching to Geico staring at them.

You made a good change, though. lol

StealthBeast responds:

HAH. This would be my classmate.

Yeah, I wasn't happy with that ending at ALL. I redid it from the hunter pounce (of course). I ended up having to sacrifice length for quality, b/c I was getting sick of working on this flash. but at least it came out nice.

You gotta submit some stuff man.

Well, the name's Josh. I'm a video game nerd, love to draw, and am hoping to become a skilled animator. I don't really submit to Newgrounds, because most of my animations are inside jokes. My only submission is one StealthBeast and I made as a joke.
